Found at a brocante in Northern France this beautiful little table was being used to display various pieces of vintage lace. We made an offer and felt we needed to portray its past.
This vintage advert for a French fabric shop has been hand painted on the table top and a fabulous ormalu, which will have graced a piece of French furniture in the past has been fixed to the top also.
Finished in matte stone and matt black. We think the marrying of hand painted and the real thing gives a fascinating effect.
