This elegant French Salon Chair was one of a set of 6 found at The Ham Fair at Chatou in Paris. It has been completely reupholstered and covered in a silk cut velvet, the cut-out being ostrich feathers and has been backed in an ash grey. The chair itself has been finished in a matte ash grey paint, specially mixed for us in France.
The surprising addition to this chair is the huge black ostrich feather fan found at an antiques fair in Newark. This fan sits in a pocket on the back of the chair and can easily be removed and replaced. If you want to make a statement then this is the chair for you.
