We found this chair at a brocante in a gorgeous little town just outside Paris. It was roughly covered in hessian which has seen better days but the overall effect was lovely. We brought it back and recovered it in a better hessian and re-created the effect.
The chair has been painted in matte black with the inside of the circular backrest has been highlighted in Regency gold. We have added a beautiful piece of vintage lace to the backrest. This is a beautifully ornate little chair and would grace any room in the home especially your boudoir.
All our paints are specially mixed for us in France.
