This luxurious deep frame was found at an antiques fair in Hexham, Northumberland. It was in a sorry state but only in so far as the gilding was in a bad state. The frame itself was undamaged.

The frame has been painted in a matt black and treated with Ghost’s special smooth wax finish and the mount has not been touched.

An Art Deco pendant in the shape of a dancing woman was simply put in the centre on a matt black board so as not to detract from the beauty of the frame itself.
