This fantastically intricate pediment was found at a flea market on the outskirts of Paris. We would imagine it graced a fabulous piece of furniture in the past but unfortunately they were no longer attached. It was covered in flakes of old paint and after much scrubbing we finished it in a matte ash grey and blackened bronze paint, specially mixed for us in France.
It took on a whole new look and would be a great addition to a piece of furniture or as a free standing conversation piece.
