We couldn't believe our luck when we won this old Linnet Cage on Ebay. Though it looked nothing like this when we opened up the parcel. After much scraping we managed to remove the stuff the linnet had left behind and finished it in a matte dark grey and blackened bronze paint, specially mixed for us in France, threaded a taupe coloured vintage velvet ribbon through the bars and used the same ribbon as a hanger.
The little door opens so you can place anything your heart desires inside - a plant, a pot of moss, a collection of your favourite little things.......
