We visited a car boot fair in Northumberland one Sunday and the first stall we came across had this fabulous hanging spoon sitting amongst a lot, of what we can only describe as rubbish.
It shone out so we grabbed it and brought it home. We simply finished the spoon itself in a matte ash grey paint, specially mixed for us in France and left the loop and it's holder on the back in the original finish.
This is a simple but decorative item to hang in a kitchen as a conversation piece, though where it originated we do not know.
