This little dish was one of a pair picked up at The Ham Fair on Chatou, a little island on the Seine in Paris. Two of the birds have flown away but left their feet behind, the third bird in totally intact and beautifully detailed.
The bowl has been finished in a matte white paint specially mixed for us in France and the bird, the little feet and the base rim have been finished in iridescent gold.
