The Double Teapot, so named because we have decorated each side in a different way was found in a country house clearance in Northumberland. Superbly elegant it had definitely seen better days.
After finishing it in matte dark ash grey and Regency gold paint, specially mixed for us in France, it took on a whole new life. The handle, legs and the little knob on the lid have been left to show its original finish.
